Seriously...... What is going on with the weather this year? El Nino......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today it is sunny, 65 degrees and gorgeous outside. I sure do hope it stays this way!! It is definitely time for spring cleaning. Opening all the windows, getting all that winter time funk up out of the house....heck yeah!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I love spring it is probably my favorite time of the year. Everything smells fresh and clean. Flowers start to bloom, the winter fog clears and makes way for the sunshine. All of it really..... it's a brand new fresh start, new beginnings, wiping the slate clean feeling.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This year I decided to quit smoking for my New years resolution!! I smoked my last cigarettes on December 31st and haven't looked back. now I'm not saying it's been easy by any means. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The first week I was a royal"you know what" IT WAS HARD!!! The second week was a little easier....mostly mental. By the third week I knew I could do it but I still wanted a darn cigarette. (still do at times) It's been almost 4 months now and I'm feeling pretty good about my accomplishment!! Now it's time to lose the extra 20 lbs I've put on!! We moved into our new home in our new town. My husband started a new job. The kids started a new school. And me......well....I unpacked boxes, found a new pediatrician, signed the kids up for school and attempted to make everyone feel at home in our new home.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;September......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My girlfriend asks if she can come stay with us for a couple of weeks while she works so that she can save the money to get her and her husband into an apartment. (This is another long story, but I won't get into the details)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;October......&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My girlfriend makes enough money to get her apartment!! My daughter get's her bedroom back!! Everyone is happy again...... Time for the holidays!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;December.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Christmas Trees, Decorations, Crazy Weather including blizzards and ice storms. Here goes....Lol&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;July......the kids and I got back from our month long vacation visiting family (halfway across the U.S.) Transitioning back into being at home versus being on vacation for an entire month is always an adjustment!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then about a week after we got home my husband get's a job offer about 6 1/2 hours from where we were, but only 1 1/2 hours from our dream location!! Obviously, he accepts.....now we have to find a new place to live and we have 2 weeks in which to do it.....Yikes!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So....we pack up the kids, drive the 6 1/2 hours to our soon to be new town and begin house hunting.....good lord let me just say, "what a pain in the royal rear end that mess was"!! We had exactly 2 weeks to find a decent rental and move in before my husband was supposed to start working.... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Our first trip was in vain, the kids fought the entire time, complained about the long drive (are we there yet, he keeps looking at me, quit touching me, on and on and on it went)for 6 1/2 hours each way....Phew.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My husband and I decide to call a property management company and go back down by ourselves. Long story short, we chose the best property out of the 7 we had to choose from in the 2 days we had to look. Did we make the right decision? Is this house going to be okay? Is the school a good one? Are the kids going to like it? all these qusetions and more running through our heads we drove the 6 1/2 hours back to start packing. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Meanwhile, the kids are excited but sad, my husbands family is a little sad being as we were within an hour or so of visiting them before the move. Everyone is a little stressed, on edge, etc. and we are packing an entire house in 3 days!! Wow how time flies.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let's see what's new....well to begin with I am no longer doing passion parties. I know, I know....I was really into it, excited about it, so on and so forth. But with moving, my husband switching jobs, the kids in a new school, etc. etc. life just kind of took over and well......there you have it (no more passion parties)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My husband never really got used to the idea of vibrator's and feminine play toys sitting out all over the place with the kids around anyway, Lol!! He was always saying "Hide that", "don't let the kids see that", etc. etc. So....in my particular situation it was probably more of a pain in the butt than anything....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hmmmm....maybe I should've gone with candles?? Hahahaha....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Awww. well.....that's what life's about isn't it. Trial and error. Learning new things, trying new things and finding out about yourself along the way. I've been so extremely busy these last couple of months I haven't had a spare moment!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The kids and I took a month long trip to Washington state to visit family and friends. It was fun, but I think next time I will opt for 2 weeks at a time. An entire month was just way too long.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My poor husband didn't come with us and by about the 2 week mark he was going pretty lonely crazy!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That was the entire month of June. Now we are all back in Missouri dealing with the humidity and the bugs, LOL.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's all good though. I truly appreciate the calmness of the Midwest. I found that I really don't miss the hustle, bustle and go, go, go attitude of everyone in Seattle.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's funny how life changes you sometimes. I always thought I would love the Big City life and would never settle down in a mainly rural area. Hmmmm....life&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the 2 weeks that I've been home we've had the 4Th of July, my youngest son turned 3 years old and we went camping in Joplin, MO.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now it is definitely time for me to get back to work and get busy with my Parties!! I Love my Job!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But....we find out by the end of the week whether or not my husband gets a new job out in Joplin or not?? Here we go again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once again....that's life. You just never know where or when it's going to take you somewhere new. They were watching a TV. show and all of a sudden my 5 year old son says to his 7 year old sister "It said you only have to be 8 to buy that, you can buy it on your next birthday"!!&lt;br /&gt;So next there is complete silence as they try to listen to what the "TOY" infomercial is saying, ha,ha,ha.&lt;br /&gt;Meanwhile my 2 year old is making lot's and lot's of noise (as usual). So I hear, "SHHHHH.....We're trying to hear this", (very seriously, of course).&lt;br /&gt;And then my 7 year old says, "It says you have to be 18".&lt;br /&gt;Awwww....How cute!&lt;br /&gt;You could just hear the disappointment.&lt;br /&gt;All the while I was listening to the three of them in there I was trying hard not to laugh, they were so serious about finally being old enough to buy something off of the t.v.&lt;br /&gt;Every time my children see something on the television (Moon Sand, BendaRoos, etc. etc.) I hear "Mom, can you get us that"?&lt;br /&gt;My answer is always the same, "We will see". The Law of Attraction states "thoughts become things", and what are thoughts? FEELINGS!! &lt;br /&gt;Yep, it's all one big melting pot of emotions, thoughts and feelings. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the beginning the concept seems pretty simple. Think good thoughts, thoughts of abundance, prosperity, happy thoughts. When you have a bad thought (replace it with a good one), you know how it goes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And, technically I think it is pretty simple, really. The only thing that makes it all complicated is "US"! We are extremely complicated beings (at least we like to think we are) it makes us feel normal. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sometimes, I feel as though we just aren't truly satisfied if things aren't complicated and hard. For some reason it just doesn't seem real unless we've got to work, work, work at it, ya' know.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hmmmm......once again "thoughts become things". So, if you believe that everything you want comes easily then it will have to come to pass and be true, right. How absolutely awesome is that? PRETTY AWESOME!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So back to "FEELINGS", if you choose to feel good all the time then it is truly impossible for you to feel bad (chew on that one for a minute). You see, you can't feel bad and good at the same time so, choose to feel good and voila' you'll feel good.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's the same for virtually everything else in your life. We are what we attract and what is attracted to us is attracted to us because of us (what we are feeling). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So....next time you are thinking to yourself about the things you would like to have in your life, remember to stop and check your feelings, are they truly in line with your thoughts?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is by no means easy, it takes continual implementation and practice. I have been like that ever since I can remember. Even as a child, when a school project/speech/essay/etc. were due I would focus completely 150% on every detail until I had reached the final result that I was completely happy with.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Now this particular trait in a person is not necessarily a bad thing. But....when you are a mom and a wife and you have a home based business you've got to learn to delegate your time so that every aspect of your life gets the full attention it needs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the most important things I believe that anyone can do for themselves when starting a business venture is to first create a vision of what your life will be like once you reach your desired goals. Keep that vision with you constantly, write it down, think about it when you wake up and when you go to sleep at night. Without a vision what are we left with?&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;Second , create a business plan. Include your daily/weekly/monthly goals to begin with. Also, it's always good to have a yearly goal in mind when you begin, to keep you excited about the long term future. As you continue in your business you can always expand and re-work your goals to fit your newly acquired success.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;As you continue in your business you will learn what does and what does not work for you, and can then re-asses your business plan to fit all of your needs as you grow. (Remember: Success is Failure Turned Inside Out")&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have a family, a spouse, children it is extremely important to include WHEN and WHEN NOT you will be working! Decide when and for how long you are going to work each day (or if you are going to work every other day). You get the picture. Be specific with your priorities and what you truly have to accomplish every day, (family time, spouse time, children time, housework,etc., etc). &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Set aside specific hours and times that you will be working. Let everyone in your family know that this is your working time (just like if you had a job outside the home). When you are done with your designated working time, then it is time for all other aspects of your life. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, this can always vary a bit depending on what kind of a business you have. If you receive a lot of phone calls, I would suggest letting them go to voicemail when you are having strictly Family Time. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember, your children and your spouse are a HUGE part of why you are doing this in the first place. If you lose sight of them during the process of building your business, then in all truth you will actually lose what was most important in your life to begin with.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I mean seriously, if you have children, I would probably be correct in assuming that about 90% of your reason for getting involved in the first place is, "For Them" (RIGHT)? If you're married then at least 90% of you're reason for getting involved is to better your quality of life, and have the ability to give you and your spouse financial security (RIGHT)?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, before I forget. This is REALLY IMPORTANT!! Set aside at least 30 minutes every single day for yourself. "YOU TIME". I cannot stress enough how important it is to have you time. If you work out, if you meditate, do yoga, whatever you do set aside AT LEAST 30 minutes every day for yourself. Honestly, I would say an hour or two but....as a mother of 4 I know that sometimes that is an impossible feat in itself. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If I am wrong on any of these points then just ignore me. I mean hey, it's only my opinion and as the old saying goes (Opinions are Like A*#H@!ES) Everybody's got One!&lt;br /&gt;But... if I am right in my assumptions then listen carefully because these words of advice could mean everything to your final outcome.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So in summation, Create a vision, a one of a kind inspired by you and only you vision of what you want your life and your business to be.&lt;br /&gt;Create a business plan. Our first game was at 11:45 and our second game was at 2:15. Both of their teams won their games today, YAY..........they are so excited!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I filled in for my husband as a coach today on my son's team. I was a bit nervous until I actually began and then I found that it was a lot of fun. I think that this was the first game that I really got to pay 100% complete attention to everything that was going on. There are definitely some advantages to being in the middle of the field the entire game. (I am looking forward to filling in for him the next time)!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me just say, there are a world of differences between Kindergarten &amp; 1st/2nd grade divisions, WOW! Not only are the rules strictly enforced in the 1st/2nd grade division but it is amazing how much better the kids play in only a years time. Kindergarten is more about getting the kids to enjoy the game and learn the different positions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All in all today was a good day. My kids had fun, I had fun, and the weather was perfect for playing soccer at 70*degrees, (it's supposed to snow in the next couple of days), weird?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Saturdays for us from now until the end of soccer season will be very busy, but also very rewarding. Here's to sunshine, soccer balls, Saturday's, smudged little faces and incredibly happy children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"If you ever want to change your mood, watch a Kindergarten soccer game. ($10 is a very minimal fee for your child's safety), but still....I think it's a bit wrong to be making money off of information that people need to keep their children safe. &lt;br /&gt;Anyway, I found this site called "Watch Dog" it is 100% free! I have 2 children playing this season, we have practice's on Tuesdays &amp;amp; Thursdays and games on Saturday's ( 1 extra game on a Thursday &amp;amp; 2 more on separate Tuesday's). Yep.......it's Soccer Season once again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My oldest plays basketball and my youngest is only 2 so we've got a couple more years before we add him to the craziness of family sports. My husband has coached the last 3 seasons (he usually switches off between kids). This season is our 5 yr. &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;olds&lt;/span&gt; turn , unfortunately......my husbands work schedule is going to make him unavailable for a few games so that leaves "ME" to take up the slack! &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;AHHHHHH&lt;/span&gt;.................&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've watched him coach before and they are only 5/6 year &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;olds&lt;/span&gt;, but still.....I'm a little nervous. The first game they need my help with is this Saturday. There is another coach that will be there to help "Thank God"! I will update on my coaching abilities and how the games go as the season continues.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hey.....I figure if nothing else, maybe this will kick start the get in shape mechanism in my head, then again....maybe it will just make me realize how truly out of shape I am? &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;Hmmm&lt;/span&gt;.....either way, both scenarios don't sound to, to bad actually. I mean seriously, how many of us make excuses as to why we can't get into shape (myself included-Big Time)? If I am chasing after a bunch of 5/6 year &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;olds&lt;/span&gt; on a soccer field all of my excuses are kind of thrown out the window. So, instead of a negative, I'm going to turn this situation into a positive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tonight my daughters team has a practice. Saturday my son has a game at 11:45 and my daughter has a game at 2:30. Saturday will be a busy day! Hopefully I can find a sitter for my 2 year old, otherwise I will be carting him around with me while I make my valiant attempt at Asst. coaching my son's soccer game. This year her theme was Hannah Montana and everything was "Hannah Montana" literally. The only present she received that didn't have something to do with Hannah Montana was the MP3 player (which I'm sure will be filled with Hannah Montana tunes soon enough) Ha,ha,ha.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We had her party at the bowling alley here in our town, Friday night "Cosmic Bowling". Our kids love cosmic bowling (it's when the bowling alley turns all the lights off and the walls, floor, pins and balls glow (they think it is sooooo cool).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The kids did get bored around their 7th turn up to bowl (but, they are 7 yr. olds it was to be expected). My 2 year old son was loving the LOUD music. He was dancing and sliding his glowing white socks all over that floor (it was very cute).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So we bowled, we opened presents, we had cake and then it was time to go. 2 hrs. went by pretty fast and everyone seemed to have a good time. One birthday down and 3 more to go!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The next one is my 5 yr. old son. He will be 6 on May 20th. Next my 14 yr. old son will be 15 on May 28th. It all started Saturday morning. My 5 yr. old said his tummy hurt and spent a good part of the day in the bathroom (we went through about 5 rolls of toilet paper). Sunday morning he woke up, said he felt fine and that was that. I thought &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;hmmm&lt;/span&gt;...this isn't so bad this time. Yeah right!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sunday afternoon around 3:00 my 6 yr. old started to complain that her stomach didn't feel very good, needless to say (it's a good thing we gave her the designated bucket). She ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor Sunday night. She said she thought it was kind of like camping (kids can make a bright moment out of just about anything).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Monday morning she said she felt fine but I kept her home from school just to be on the safe side. All in all Monday went pretty smooth and then....around 12:30 or so Monday night I heard my 2 yr. old yelling "Mommy,Mommy". I jumped out of bed and ran to his room to find him sitting in the middle of a very large mess (YUCK) The poor baby. he knew that when his brothers and sisters get sick they always have a bucket so he was just sitting there with this bewildered look on his face saying"bucket,bucket". I guess he figured if he'd have had a bucket he wouldn't be in that predicament (&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Awww&lt;/span&gt;..once again, poor baby). So, I cleaned him up and he spent the rest of the night in a sleeping bag on the bathroom floor. (we now call it camping).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tuesday morning the baby got up and started running around like nothing happened. My 6 yr. old said she felt good and went to school, my 5 yr. old was still feeling good and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;everyone&lt;/span&gt; else was feeling fine also, once again I thought it was over. NOPE! Around 2:00 Tuesday afternoon my husband called to say he would be coming home early due to his stomach not feeling well. He spent the day running in and out of the bathroom, sometimes at &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;speeds&lt;/span&gt; I have never seen him run (all I've got to say about that is our bathroom got one heck of a workout on Tuesday). "Giggle, giggle", I know I shouldn't but honestly,"I didn't know he could move that fast". Luckily for him and me he had the next day off so he had plenty of time to re-cooperate before the next round "ME", Yep it was inevitable I got it too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wednesday morning my daughter woke up once again with an upset tummy. She took the day off from school once again (we went through another 5 rolls of toilet paper). Unfortunately I started to feel a bit ill on Wednesday also, I'm not sure if I was really sick or just sick of everyone else being sick? I dunno' but Wednesday was a rough day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thursday morning my 6 yr. old woke up, felt fine and it was off to school for another try. But.....now the baby was having his own "back-end" issues. Good Lord! He's still in diapers and WHEW...let me just say this "Luvs diapers are a godsend"!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's now Friday, my 3 oldest children all made it to school today, the baby and my husband are both napping peacefully and as for me," So far so good".
